ABOUT ALVEOS

We build technology that expands human agency.

The ability to know what state you are in, and to change it. Everything we build starts there.

Know your state.
 Your breath is the signal.

Now

Agency over your state

You notice you are wired before it costs you the meeting, the workout, or the evening. Alveos One sits on the collar, listens to your breathing through the day, and gives a gentle nudge when it may be time for a moment. That is what we ship today.

Research

Agency over your health

The same sensor already captures more than breathing. It picks up the heart sounds a clinician listens for at the chest, and acoustic signs from the lungs. With university partners, we are researching how that could help catch heart and lung problems earlier. That potential drives our vision.

Breathing is the core

Breathing is the only major signal of the body you can both read and change. It reports what your nervous system is doing, and it gives you a handle to steer it. You take 20,000 breaths a day, and until now no wearable could hear them.

Capturing breath continuously, comfortably, in real life is the hard problem we solved first, with a patented acoustic sensor worn close to the lungs.

How it began

Alveos started in Helsinki with four people who had each learned, in their own way, what breathing can change. Oliver overcame adult-onset asthma with breathwork. Patrick grew up with asthma and a lifelong interest in performance. Vasilii had spent 18 years building medical devices, inspired by his mother's breathing challenges. Jani had designed products used by millions while living through the same stress Alveos is built to address.

Team Building alveos

Patrick Obolgogiani

CEO

Patrick has spent over a decade scaling companies from startup to global success, most recently at Nosto. With a lifelong interest in health and performance, and his own history of asthma, he brings both business acumen and personal motivation to the mission.

Antonia Schroff

Data & Science

Antonia turns raw sensor streams into dependable biometrics and useful insights, and leads our validation efforts and university relationships. Her academic background is in biosensing and bioelectronics at Aalto University, and she joined alveos from Wolt (part of DoorDash), where she led the Wolt for Work product.

Vasilii Zhuravskii, PhD

Hardware

Vasilii is an engineer with 18+ years in medical device development. He has built everything from ECG and EEG systems to wearable health sensors. At alveos, he makes sure our technology is accurate, safe, and robust, inspired by his mother’s lifelong breathing challenges.

Oliver Obolgogiani

Operations and Growth

From scaling a wellness service to millions in revenue to producing award-winning creative work, Oliver brings operational and storytelling expertise to the team. Having overcome adult-onset asthma through breathwork, he wants to make that same transformation accessible to others.

Jani Nummela

Design and Development

Jani brings 20+ years of experience building global brands and digital products for millions of users. Most recently, he led design competence and AI innovation for a team of 50+ at Adventure Club.

Teemu Havisalo

Manufacturing and Supply Chain

Teemu builds our manufacturing and supply chain, taking Alveos One from prototype to mass production. At Suunto he led operations for new product launches, including the Race S, Ocean and Vertical watches.

Mark Zahar

Firmware

Mark is a talented firmware engineer with a background at Playtronica. He writes the code that listens, filters and nudges on the device itself.
